Bart Bloem, a 26-year old trans man, set out on in February on a journey across Europe that has taken him from his hometown of Malaga, Spain, where his mother is also from, through 25 counties by the time he will reach Germany on August 12.

A North Carolina woman on vacation searching for her family’s vacation home was arrested for alleged drug trafficking in Honduras earlier this week.
Amanda “Mandy” LaRoque was at the Juan Manuel Gálvez International Airport in Roatan returning home after house hunting with her friend when police stopped her and searched her Sunday, July 30.

San Francisco is the next stop on the ice cream trail for the immensely popular pop-up Museum of Ice Cream organizers announced Tuesday.
The museum will set up its famed sprinkle pool, banana room, at 1 Grant Avenue in the former Emporio Armani boutique in Union Square, according to media reports.

A New Zealand hotelier was killed in a “freak accident” at “Blow Away Beach” on Saint Martin Wednesday, July 12.
It is the first such death at this dangerous but popular tourist attraction, says Sint Maarten police spokesman Ricardo Henson, reports The Washington Post.
