Summer vacation beyond the borders of the United States and possibly the state we live in clearly has been forced to pull off the road with the pandemic this year.
The coronavirus, that causes COVID-19, that has become a global pandemic has crushed our summer plans not to mention the unknown foreseeable future as Europe and some other destinations ban Americans from visiting as the country’s reopen their borders.
Cooped up in our homes for four months and running out of projects to keep our minds off of our unexpected long staycation, Americans have taken to Instagram staging traveling from entering an airport to photo ops with a blown up photo of their dream destination as a backdrop. The Taiwanese took their desire to explore to another level by actually booking a flight and boarding a plane to nowhere just for the taste of travel.
Photo books are giving us another way to feed our wanderlust. Five new beautiful photo books, released within the past year, can help us escape, not physically, but in our imagination to far off destinations.
