The Table Less Traveled and Savor Seattle launch Italian Food Tour

Seattleās food tour mavens, Annie Cheng, chief eating officer of The Table Less Traveled and Angela Shen, founder of Savor Seattle have teamed up and are heading to Italy with the Heart of Italy Food Tour in 2016.
The two women announced their nine-day trip through Italy visiting the famed Tuscany area as well as hidden gems the Emilia Romagna as two of the three mouthwatering regions they will take 12 guests to September 17-25, 2016, they announced today, December 1.
āYour whole focus is to savor Italy,ā says Annie.
Guests will start their Italian culinary and cultural experience with two days in Sorrento and on the Amalfi Coast before heading north to spend three days each in Naples (the birthplace of pizza), Florence, Chianti, and the Tuscan countryside and ending in Emilia Romagna, which the women have dubbed the āuntold foodie capital of Italy.ā
The tour will take guests up close and personal explore and indulge in the local Italian ingredients and gastronomy. Guests will become intimate with the process of making mozzarella on a local dairy farm, make lemoncello from lemons at a lemon orchard, hunt for truffles, create their own pizza, taste wines and espressos and of course indulge in the local Italian ingredients and gastronomy.
āI think that we would make excellent Italians,ā says Annie, as the Italian rolls off her tongue, talking about the two womenās recent trip to Italy. āI drank enough wine to be Italian.ā
After a day indulging in Italian cuisine or traveling by train up the Italian coast, guests will fall into a luxurious bed at a 4-star hotel.
The tour starts at $4,899, not including airfare and two dinners at guestsā leisure. The single supplement is $1,400. To reserve your spot a $1,000 per traveler non-refundable deposit is required.
