Longtime Timeshare Executive Team Member Bettejean “Bj” Kelly Was Promoted To Senior Vice President/Operations of Resort Vacations

Resort Vacations, Inc. announced the promotion of longtime executive team member Bettejean “Bj” Kelly to the position of senior vice president/operations February 5 news release from the company.
The California real estate brokerage company which markets and sells memberships in Global Exchange Vacation Club has been rapidly growing.
Last year, sales figures broke all company projections with more than $33 million in sales. This year, the company projected targets are more than $45 million, according to the release.
In the past five years, the company has grown from 150 employees to over 500.
The Club sales offices have expanded from locations in Southern California to Texas. Additionally, the company has two contact centers, one in Santa Ana, California and the other in Bedford, Texas.
“I’ve enjoyed watching our company grow,” said Bj, who has been a member of Resort Vacation’s executive team for a decade, acknowledging that the new role is an “acknowledgement of the increased responsibilities of this constantly growing operation.”
As senior vice president/operations, Bj’s responsibilities encompass human resources, accounting, loan portfolio management, loan and maintenance fee collections and servicing as well as, member services and escrow closing of sales contracts, according to the release.

Rick responded with reciprocal admiration for Bj.
“With our recent expansion to other market areas and with our plans for product growth within the Club, Bj’s role has become increasingly important over the years,” said Rick who became acquainted with Bj before she joined the company when she was vice president of Winners Circle Resorts International, Inc. “Her knowledge of the timeshare industry and ability to tackle complex components of the business and make them run smoothly is hard to top.”
Bj reiterated Resort Vacations commitment to vacationers.
