Woman Discovers Husband Cheating Disrupts Flight Forcing It To Land Unexpectedly

by Heather Cassell

Qatar Airways was forced into an emergency landing mid-way to Bali, Indonesia in India after a drunk woman discovered her husband was cheating on her and became hysterical Sunday.

The unidentified woman allegedly secretly used her sleeping husband’s finger to unlock his phone where she discovered he was cheating on her.

The family was flying aboard QR-972 from Doha, Qatar to Bali when the pilot was forced to decide to make an emergency landing in Chennai, India due to the woman, who had been drinking, beating her husband and arguing with crewmembers November 5.

The airline declined to identify the woman or to comment further regarding the case to protect her privacy, reported Fortune.

The couple and their child were removed from the plane. The woman wasn’t allowed to fly on the carrier until she sobered up, reported the New Indian Express. The family spent the day at Chennai airport, reported the Independent.

The family caught another flight to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia where they connected to a flight to Doha.

Airline officials declined to press charges due to lack of criminal activity, according to media reports.
