Airbnb gets ranked from the cheapest to the most expensive cities around the world
It’s a whole new world out there, even where you rest your traveling head.
For the first time, Airbnb is being ranked and compared for its affect is being factored into new trends in accommodations in the hotel industry.
In an independently compiled survey of more than 60,000 properties in 150 cities GoEuro.co.uk, a European online transportation booking website, created a list of the most expensive and least expensive destinations for Airbnb guests as a part of a travel price index series.
Not surprising, New York, USA tops the list as most expensive and Tirana, Albania is #1 in the least expensive cities.

- Miami
- Nassau
- Boston
- Venice
- Dubai
- San Francisco
- Monte-Carlo
Least Expensive Overall:
- Tirana
- Hammamet
- Sofia
- Cairo
- Antalya
- Bangkok
- Bucharest
- Warsaw
- Belgrade
- Shanghai
The prices of the Airbnb listings were calculated during the same dates for the same amount of guests. Currency was converted using the Bloomberg exchange on November 17.
