Adventure Seekers Get Their Adrenalin Rush At One Of Seven Travel & Adventure Shows Around The US In 2016

by Heather Cassell

Up for an adventure? How about a weekend of adventure? The Travel & Adventure Show will be roaming through the US this winter wetting wanderlusters’ appetite to hit the road.

The Travel & Adventure Show will hit the road again in 2016 stopping in seven cities starting January 16. Wanderlusters can get your gallivanting shoes on at these Travel & Adventure Shows:

The Travel & Adventure Show has inspired wanderlusters for 12 years in Chicago, Los Angeles, Washington, DC. This will be the sixth year that the show comes to the San Francisco Bay Area and Dallas and the third year it visits San Diego and its second year in Philadelphia, according to its website.

Travelers will have unprecedented access to many of the world’s top destinations, travel experts, and travel companies during the weekend long travel show, according to John Golicz, chief executive officer and founder, who announced the 2016 Travel & Adventure Show dates in a December 1 news release.

Attendees will get the latest travel tips and deals as well as talk to celebrities, attend workshops, check out exhibits on five stages and the Yosemite Experience Pavilion, and have the chance to win trips, prizes and simply feed their wanderlust.

The Travel Channel’s Samantha Brown and Pauline Frommer, editorial director of the Frommer Guides and publisher of Frommers.com, are among the speakers for the travel show.

More than 200 exhibitors will be on display, such as Costa Rica Rios, Discover Pakistan, Tourism Malaysia, Taiwan Tourism Bureau as well as tour companies Yamnusha Mountain Adventures and Utah’s Canyonlands, showing off what their destinations have to offer travelers.

“People flock to our events because they know that while the Internet and guidebooks contain great information, they are not always reliable,” says John, who has helped connect travelers in a “meaningful way” with experts at the world’s top destinations giving them their dream vacations. “At the Travel & Adventure Shows you get the truth from people who are either from the travel destination or have traveled extensively in the region.”

Wanderlusters will also be entertained by art and culture, food and wine, and travel tips at the Destination Theater, Savvy Traveler Theater, Global Beats Stage, Taste of Travel Stage are four of the five stages tailored for traveler’s interests.
