Job Description: Sell online display advertising for Girls That Roam.

What we are looking for: You are an upbeat and outgoing individual who has a wide breath of knowledge about a variety of industries within, directly related to, or touch the travel industry. You are someone who likes talking with a lot of different people. You like challenges and are resourceful. You are creative and know how to think outside of the box, and can work independently, but also with a team. You are comfortable in a start-up environment. You love the web and know its power. You want to help businesses get online and leverage their power to reach women travelers.

The sales representative(s) must have an understanding of the mission and goals of Girls That Roam as well as women’s travelers’ and travel businesses from hotels shops needs and wants.

Responsibilities:
•    Work with the publisher on the strategic online advertising, social media and mobile campaign
•    Manage advertising sales accounts and client relationships
•    Must be available weekly to meet with the publisher either via conference call, web conference or in person
•    Must meet agreed upon weekly advertising sales goals
•    We would like you to be open and willing to broaden knowledge of event / multimedia/ online advertising sales industry and technology

•    Adaptable and creative to help clients reach our audience in a mutually beneficial way and create strategic partnerships

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as the website develops.

Qualifications:
•    Must possess familiarity with or an interest in women and travel
•    Must have a working computer system, phone, and internet access in a home office
•    Must possess proficient knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
•    Have at minimum working knowledge of working with Google Drive
•    Excellent written and oral communication skills
•    A can do attitude and friendly outgoing personality
•    Must be comfortable with making cold calls, following up with potential clients, and closing the deal
